During purification, you created a foundation for a healthy lifestyle. During the next phase - post purification - you will build on that foundation. And you will expand on what you have learned during purification, which will allow you to live a more "normal" yet healthy lifestyle.
During post-purification, you will:
- Eat healthy. Fruits, vegetables, and lean meats continue to be the core of the post-purification diet.
- Introduce "new" foods (those not included in the purification diet). By eating wholesome food for three weeks, it will be clear how and which "new" foods will affect you. You will work with your health care professional to carefully and systematically introduce each new food group into the diet. By keeping a food journal you will be able to track how these foods affect you.
- Find out how portion control and reading labels will affect your success. The program guide provides a variety of tips to help you achieve your goals.
